La Asociación Nacional de Armadores de Buques Atuneros Congeladores (ANABAC) is the oldest association of owners of this type of vessel in Spain.
ANABAC was established in Bermeo in 1977, and today the association brings together three founding members:
Throughout all these years, our associated fleet has harvested tropical tuna species using purse‑seine gear in the different RFMOs (Regional Fisheries Management Organizations).
