Following a 15-day objection period on the Final Draft Report for the ANABAC Atlantic unassociated purse seine yellowfin tuna fishery the Public Certification Report was produced by the assessment team and published at the MSC website on June 25, 2021.

Both the assessment team and Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS determined that the assessed fishery complies with MSC Fisheries Certification Requirements, so the certification is awarded. The fishery certificate will expire on June 24, 2026 subject to the results of ongoing surveillance audits.

The product caught by the UoC presented in the table below is eligible to be sold by the client group as MSC certified and enter further certified CoC. However, restrictions on the fully certified product entering further CoC have been imposed since the vessels included in the UoC are required to have their own on-board MSC-CoC certificates.
